“Sometimes when you’re on tour you end up constantly talking about the same things every day and then it gets a little bit wearing. I can’t wait to take pictures of the mountains of boxes of videogame instrument controllers at my local Best Buy once the holiday Shopocalypse hits full swing. I’ll even see if I can build a little fort at my local Best Buy out of all the Guitar Hero and Rock Band boxes. 2009 has already seen three new music games so far. Guitar Hero: Smash Hits Guitar Hero: Metallica for PS2 PS3 Wii and Xbox 360 and Rock Band Unplugged for PSP. These were not bundled with instruments but could be played with stuff you currently have. Music game publishers are expected to keep their previous music games on store shelves in disc only when they switch over to their newer games for the big equipment bundles.

The lights have never seemed so strong. I have stood on this stage so many many times before and I swear it has never been this big and bright and empty. This guitar is not mine; it belongs to my dad along with the embroidered guitar strap. The yellow brown and red zigzags are a hypnotic pattern that bring me back to being three-years-old and watching my daddy play with the band in the garage. I hope some of my daddy’s talent sinks into my fingers now. The bottom of the guitar rests in the middle of my thighs. The guitar is massive.
