By day Nagarsheth is a gifted surgeon and physician a man who cherishes his calling to save lives. By night Nagarsheth sheds his scrubs and his scalpel and trades them in for a drum kit and a guitar. “Music has always been a passion of mine ever since I was a child” said Nagarsheth who also practices at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center in New Jersey. “But to be honest with you I didn’t really develop an interest in medicine until I went to college. “nce you’re in medicine it really changes your life. It’s all-encompassing” Nagarsheth added.

The connection was made through Chicago PACTT teacher Bob Mann who used to live in Brown’s home turf of Iowa City Iowa. Brown sang for autistic children in a group home in Iowa City. Mann still uses Brown’s music in his classroom. “Most of these kids are into music and it comes into play at soothing and recreation time” said PACTT development director Terry Herbstritt. “PACTT deals with the severe end of the autism spectrum. The alternative to a place like PACTT is institutional life especially for adults who live in our group home. PACTT has a model for integration into the community that just didn’t happen 20 years ago.
