To pass the time on long car trips the entire family would sing. “My mom would say all the time that I could hum tunes before I could sing the words” said Mrs. Beck a Rockwall mother of two who studied piano voice and guitar as a child. “I thought this was what everyone did and everyone knew. Beck said she was stunned when she started looking for music classes for her two young boys. She realized that many parents know little more than a few songs and are uncomfortable teaching their own children about music.
