Both concerts are free. n Saturday July 28 at 6:30 pm the Grant Park Music Festival presents the sizzling “Flamenco on Venetian Night” concert featuring Núñez with the Grant Park rchestra under Guest Conductor Joana Carneiro and showcasing traditional gypsy dancer Carmen Cortés. n Sunday July 29 at 6:30 pm the popular Music Without Borders series features the Gerardo Núñez Flamenco Ensemble performing with oud and violin virtuoso Simon Shaheen and master sitar player Nishat Khan. Núñez who has collaborated with many artists in recordings and toured the world including the United States is making his Grant Park Music Festival debut on Saturday. ) Ferrana decided to pursue music. His first instrument was a stolen guitar which was later exchanged for bass guitar as he joined a series of bands. So to get one of those perfect tracks into the game is enough for us to say (today don’t quote us next week when Rock Band includes something even better; we love this war!) that GHII:LR rules the roost in advance of being released.
